Criminal Justice Programmes

Introduction

YSS has delivered intensive supervision programmes to young people and adults in the criminal justice system since the organisation began. Through working in partnership with Youth Offending Services and Probation Areas, we provide programmes with intensive levels of contact to those most at risk of re-offending. These projects are backed up by an out-of-hours telephone help-line available to those on supervision, and their families. Projects for Youth Offending Services include Bail Programmes and Specified Activities, out-of-hours and Appropriate Adult provision, a Parenting programme, and ISSP. Projects for Probation areas have been associated with prolific offenders, and we are delivering a PPO project across West Mercia Probation Area, known as ACCLAIM.
