Monday 23rd March: We are continuing to review our procedures in light of the latest developments regarding Coronavirus. We will publish all updates to our services and how they are affected on a regular basis.

We are continuing to provide one-to-one services to our clients in West Mercia but staff will undertake individual risk assessments as necessary and will approach each individual on a case by case basis.

YSS is receiving updates from partners in the Community Rehabilitation Company, and Local Authorities as well as seeking advice and guidance from the Government and the WHO websites.

We understand that this is a worrying time for many people, particularly those who are isolated or may be suffering from health issues and we will aim to support the people we work with as much as we possibly can. We are currently developing a bank of ideas on how we can reach out to people in these exceptional circumstances, and still provide them with the support that they need. We know that some of our service users have no access to mobile technology and we are considering how to deploy a number of tablets for their use.

If you are using any of our services and need to update us on your situation with regards to Coronavirus (for example, you have been in contact with someone who has been infected or you have come back from one of the affected areas and want to cancel your appointment with us) please contact your keyworker or our out of hours number 07659 815970 in exceptional circumstances.

For all health-related advice, contact NHS online 111.
