On 26th November 2019, Volunteer Co-ordinator, Laura Evans and Appropriate Adult Administrator, Lia Palios-Hayden, attended the Criminal Justice Volunteer Fair organised by the University of Worcester. During the first hour Laura and Lia gave a presentation about YSS and the mentoring and Appropriate Adult roles currently available for volunteers, alongside other organisations including the West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service and West Mercia Youth Justice Service. During the second hour they spoke to a number of students who were interested in finding our more about how they could get involved.

Laura said: "The event was a great opportunity for YSS to promote the work that we do; we received a really enthusiastic response from the people that we met, and Lia and I are looking forward to meeting the applicants who have been in touch about volunteering on both projects."
