Worcestershire Young Carers has been successfully delivered by YSS since 2003 and supports more than 400 young carers from across Worcestershire every year. Part of the service includes providing regular clubs and activities for young carers to take part in, ranging from a trip to the seaside, going horse riding or visiting the theatre.

Now, the latest program of activities has been organised, and includes the chance to go sledging at Tamworth Snowdome, as well as taking part in a ‘Jungle Book’ themed masking and drama workshop.

Please read the information from Senior Keyworker, Neil Phillips, below and follow the steps to find out more information or book a place:

I am writing to you to confirm the activities we will be offering to young carers over the upcoming Easter holidays. As per usual, we have tried to ensure we are offering something new and we hope that we have found something interesting for all of our young people.

As parents and young carers will be receiving these letters at differing times, we will not be operating on a first come first served basis. At this moment we are asking for expressions of interest and will make decisions around the allocation of places in the coming weeks. If you see an activity that you or your child would like to be involved with, please call the office on 01905 619886 and register your interest. You can also e mail [email protected].
