Worcestershire Young Carers is delighted to have been chosen as one of the Co-op's charities to receive funding through their Local Community Fund.

The scheme, which runs throughout 2020, enables Co-op members to choose a local cause to support and 1% of what members spend on selected Co-op branded products and services goes to the charity. You can choose a local cause that you want your 1% to support.

Jon Cawdron, Senior Coordinator, Worcestershire Young Carers, said: "We're so delighted to have been chosen as a Co-op Local Community charity for this round of funding. We're urging all our supporters to vote for us, so that we can raise as much money as possible for respite activities and trips for our young carers. This funding really will make such a difference to the support that we’re able to give."

Worcestershire Young Carers' cause will appear in the following three Worcester Co-op stores: Claines, Ombersley Road; Ombersley Road; Barker Street, Worcester. Co-op Members can also vote online here: https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/38105
