Fit4February Challenge

Do you want to join the students of the Hidelow Grange school in making a difference this February? Join their Fit4February challenge and donate to our Worcestershire Young Carers.

What is the Fit4February Challenge?

Hidelow Grange School are getting Fit for February whilst raising money for the YSS charity who support Worcestershire Young Carers. Headteacher Mr Goodchild will be running 30 miles along the Birmingham to Worcester canal on Friday 17th February, arriving in Worcester at approximately 2pm.

Students from the school will be running or walking one mile a day throughout February to support the campaign. They will also be cycling alongside Mr Goodchild as he runs the distance in a bid to raise money along the way.

You too can join in by completing the daily challenge and donating money to this fantastic cause that gives invaluable support to carers across Worcestershire. With your support, YSS can offer carers a break from caring through activities, trips or holidays where they can meet and socialise with other carers and enjoy their time as young people.

Testimonial

“Running 30 miles is going to be really difficult for our school, but being a young carer is more difficult. This challenge will be a lot easier in comparison to what a young carer does daily, weekly even, whilst caring for a family member. By running this campaign, we want to shine a light on the challenges they face and bring them a day or two of fun that they can enjoy with friends. We urge you to take up the challenge, run, walk or row. Whatever challenge you like, and raise money with us.
