A Day of Wishes at the Worcester Show
Making Connections and Sharing Wishes
On Sunday, 9th of August YSS joined the Worcester Show for a brilliant day of community, conversation and plenty of wishes!
Our team spent the Sunday meeting local people, talking about the work we do and sharing more about the different ways YSS supports people across Worcestershire.
One of the highlights was our Wishing Tree, which invited visitors to stop, think about what they wished for and add their own message to the tree. We were so pleased to see so many wishes being made throughout the weekend, with the tree quickly filling up with hopes, dreams and thoughtful messages. The activity gave us a lovely opportunity to start conversations with people about what matters to them, while also introducing more visitors to YSS and the support available in their local community.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to say hello, made a wish or took the time to find out more about YSS. It was fantastic to be part of such a welcoming community event, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
