A Special Day at YSS: Welcoming Our New President
Reflecting on What Matters
Monday was a special day at YSS as we welcomed our new President, Lady Susanna McFarlane.
The day brought colleagues and trustees together to reflect on what makes YSS who we are. We spent time exploring our existing values, discussing what they mean to us and how they can continue to guide our work into the future.
It was a chance to share ideas, listen to different perspectives and reflect on the values that sit at the heart of everything we do.
We also officially welcomed Lady Susanna into her new role. Susanna has been part of YSS for more than 20 years, first joining as an Appropriate Adult Volunteer in 2004 before becoming a Trustee and later serving as Chair of Trustees from 2007 to 2026.
We’re delighted to welcome her as our new President and look forward to the experience, commitment and perspective she will bring to the role.
